Sy Goldstein is the pseudonym of a Toronto-based AI artist. He has created an alternate world of bizarre  AI-generated street photography portraits in an imaginary 1980s New York City, complete with interviews and backstories. In real life, his background is in film and photography, having directed music videos, national branded video campaigns, commercial work, short documentaries, web series, and interactive content. He's also taken his fair share of real life photo portraits.
